What is a Workplace Investigation?

Workplace investigations occur after a formal complaint is made and a workplace would like to learn more about the circumstances of this event or series of events. They differ from workplace restorations in that they are a private inquiry concerning a specific event or series of events that relate to specific individuals, rather than the workplace as a whole. What is a Workplace Mediation?

Workplace Mediations are confidential conflict resolution processes for two or more parties. Mediators serve as facilitators of a dialogue process to enable the parties to make decisions and form agreement on how to move forward.

The goals of mediation are to create a safe, positive environment, open the lines of communication between parties, identify issues and focus on underlying interests instead of positions, generate options for mutual gain, and define elements of an agreement.
